Most of history’s watershed moments came down to a particular interpretation of what was taking place and acting as such. The Cuban Missle Crisis is one example that comes to mind where a liberal interpretation of timelines and intent on the part of the American administration, helped to save the world from imminent annihilation. I am a selfish Celtic supporter. I’ve been following the club for only a relatively short time, even compared to most others my age. Many of them I’m sure have been dressed in Hoops onesies and sung to sleep with Celtic lullabies. In the years I’ve been supporting Celtic, I’ve seen them win the second and third of the Three-In-A-Row, two Scottish Cups, and one League Cup. For a supporter of any other team, five pieces of silverware in six years is a damn good haul…a damn good haul indeed. Yet, we are a bit spoiled as Tims, especially Tims of the modern era. And here I am, expecting Celtic to win the first leg of the treble last week, followed by claiming the league title at the Debtdome this week. Read more
By now, if you are reading this site, you know unless you go to a pub, or subscribe online to Celtic Player, or Viewer, you aren’t getting a Celtic match. Unless you follow one of the many blogs, or podcasts (and there’s many) you have to read the official site you won’t know the score. And that’s sad, because you need to think of the pockets of Scottish people who live in this country. Not that every Scot watches or follows Celtic, but it’s just wrong.

It was one of the best team performances I’ve seen from Celtic this season and I’m actually delighted it was at Tynecastle. Half an hour into the game, it was over. The clinical finishing from Celtic saw three out of our four midfielders net the goals and even then, it looked like we were going to score two or three more. Hearts were lucky to lose only 4-0 as Lennon said in his post-match interview; it could of finished 6 or 7 the way the team were playing. Read more
